Australian owned and operated, Warren & Brown Technologies Pty Ltd (WBT), a global leader in ICT connectivity infrastructure, will be supplying its latest ultra high density fibre optic infrastructure solutions to support the Aussie Broadband fibre optic network expansion.
The products have been locally designed and manufactured at the company’s Melbourne manufacturing facility. The solution scope includes custom Optical Fibre Distribution Frames, high density fibre management trays, fibre cabling and other Data Centre fibre and copper cabling equipment.
Ben Ciardullo from WBT said the aim is to always put its customers first and support Aussie Broadband on this exciting phase of their expansion. “It’s our ability to work with our customers, understand their network requirements and then supply a fit for purpose solution, that enables us to support network operators such as Aussie Broadband. Furthermore, being an Australian company, with local design and manufacturing capabilities enables us to be responsive to the needs of the market, as well provide any customisations if required.”
Managing Director for Aussie Broadband, Phillip Britt said WBT will be playing an important role in supporting their fibre network deployment. “Warren & Brown Technologies (WBT) will play a fundamental role in supporting Aussie Broadband’s network during these critical times for enhanced connectivity. We are proud to partner with a local optical fibre manufacturer,”
“The purpose of this project is to transition our connectivity to NBN POIs onto our own fibre network. We look forward to working with WBT because the company has the experience from similar projects globally, as well as the technological capabilities and ultra-high density fibre solutions, for a project like this,” Phil said.
